Layered Controls

Three buttons may not always be enough to fully control your music. SIA features a second function layer that is activates by holding a button. This keeps SIAs face clear and simple.

Locating bumps

Similar to the tactile bumps on a keyboard, a dash, three, and two dots, help you locate buttons.

Wireless charging base

SIAs charging base can can be left behind while controlling your music. When battery is low, nothing needs to be plugged in to charge.

Transportation Ease

The strap on SIA allows you to bring SIA with you without grasping. The strap can also keep a hand free to use.

Visual Feedback

Icons illuminate when they are activated or depressed to know if your input was received.

Tactile Feedback

Clicky keyboard switches are used for their "click" when pressed and slight bump through the stroke. A keyboard switch can be customized and replaces for a user's preferred button feel.

Manufacturing Considerations

Injection Mold + Recycled

Bend + Recycle

Every plastic component, excluding the extruded button module, are injection molded from durable, recycled, and recyclable nylon. Minimizing material changes improves end of life process.
Aluminum can be recycled infinitely. Using recycled sheet aluminum and adding bends increases the stiffness of SIA's outer shell.

SIA is a desktop audio control tool for people with hand mobility and dexterity challenges.
