Hello! My name is Eli Braverman.

I am an industrial design student at Western Washington University. Originally from Connecticut, I moved across the country because I fell in love with the mountains, people, and culture of the Pacific Northwest and knew I wanted to make this place my home. Deeply connecting with my fellow cohort members was incredibly helpful in making WWU ID feel like a new home and family.

Industrial design was not my initial career plan. After graduating high school, I knew I wasn’t ready for higher education. During my gap year, working at my local bike shop made me realize how much I loved working with people, listening to their needs, and connecting them to products and experiences that met those needs.

For me, design is all about people. It's about creating experiences, products, and ideas that prioritize the well-being of those who interact with them. Sustainability is also close to my heart, and I believe that our designs should be as kind to people as they are to the Earth and all that live on it.

Let’s go for a bike ride!
